"POWER LAB"
Discovering Jesus' Miraculous Power
As kids experience amazing Bible adventures, they will take part in daily challenges that encourage them to apply Bible truths to everyday life.
Lab Crews - Each day children will begin in their assigned Lab Crew. All Lab Crews gather at the Sonic Sing & Play to sing and move to upbeat Bible songs and hear the message of the day. Lab Crews will visit different lab stations; including Test Tube Treats, Adventures at Bible Blast, Wacky Works Crafts & Missions, and Hyperspeed Games. They will also meet Chadder Chipmunk on video! Everyone gathers together for the Faith Finale at the end of the day.
MISSION PROJECTS - Throughout the week children will work on a special mission project called "Operation Kid-to-Kid." This project allows participants of all ages to impact orphans in South Africa! As in past years, we will be collecting food for Katy Christian Ministries. Join us and help us mix up some BIG fun at St. Peter's POWER LAB.
June 23 through June 27 (Mon. - Fri.) - 8:45 a.m. until Noon.
AGES - Vacation Bible School is for children who are three years old by September 1, 2008, through those entering the fifth grade in September 2008. We welcome children who are members of St. Peter's UMC and non-members.
Volunteers Needed!!!
Vacation Bible School is offered to our community by the grace of God and through volunteers. We need many, many volunteers. Teens, Parents, Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles. Anyone who is willing and able to help. There is a job for you big or small. The more volunteers we have the more children we can share God's love with.
If you would like to volunteer, but you have younger children who need a place to be while you are volunteering. NO PROBLEM. We provide childcare for any volunteer's children under 3 years of age. Please call the Church at 281-492-8031 to volunteer.
Tuition - $20.00 for one child, $35.00 maximum per family. **Tuition is waved for children whose parents volunteer in one of these areas: Snack Team, Teacher, Assistant Teacher, Shepherd, Station Leaders (Music, Games, Video, Snacks, or Crafts).
