Ministries

Vacation Bible School - "Power Lab"Kids will discover Jesus' miraculous power!  Get ready for an exciting adventure, following Jesus as he heals, helps and gives power to people who need Him. VBS is open to children ages three years (by 9/1/2008) through those entering the 5th grade in August 2008.  Dates: June 23 -27 (Mon. - Fri.)

Music and Movement -"Tell Me A Tale" Join us for around the world imagination adventures of the greatest stories from Europe, Malaysia, South Africa and more.  Children will develop an awareness of rhythm, movement, singing and drama through storytelling.  Children 3 to 6 are welcome.  Dates: June 16 - 20

Sunny Days - "Extreme Adventures."  These two adventures are for children ages 2 to 5 ready to take a Rainforest Adventure and/or an Odyssey Adventure into God's Creation.

Dates: Session 1 - July 14 - 18  Rainforest Adventure

   Session 2 - July 21 - 25  Odyssey Adventure

Camp St. Peters - "Rainforest Adventure" school age children (1st through 6th grade).  On campus acitivies include: Music, Cooking, Crafts, Science, Computers, Storytime and Games.  Plus there are two fieldtrips each week and lots of special performances and activities each week.  Week 1 :July 14 - 18  Week 2: July 21 - 25

St. Peter's Dance Ministry - Older Toddlers through school age children have an opportunity to participate in this exciting program.  Age and skill appropriate dance classes are taught by Kathleen Connolly, owner of Connolly Dance Arts.  As children dance, Miss Kathleen will bring awareness of some of God's most wonderful creations- themselves.

                        Come explore the awesome power of God's love with

St. Peter's UMC Children's Ministries while learning about His                                  word.  No matter how you discover His power, in the 

"Power    Lab," through stories at "Tell Me A Tale," in the jungle or outer space at "Extreme Adventures," or even in the rainforest at "Rainforest Adventure," we will be waiting for you and God's word is ready and waiting to charge you up and change your life! Through music, movement, dance, science, art, stories, hands-on activities, trips, special productions and more, we will all experience a powerful summer together.

You don't have to wait for summer to get involved in opportunites for fun, fellowship and faith education.  Throughout the year we offer special events such as "Teach Me to Pray." "Celebrate America" and "Sights, Sounds, and Smells of Christmas."  Third graders can participate in our Bibleland Journey "Route 66" and fourth and fifth graders can join their peers at Club 45.  "Special Kids Ministries" offers mentors during Sunday School and Friday Night Friends once a month for special needs children and their siblings.  On Sunday mornings, persons of all ages are involved in worship, Bible studies and Sunday School.  Join us in the Sanctuary at 8:00 a.m., 9:15 a.m., and 10:30 a.m. for traditional worship.  Sunday School is offered for children of all ages during the 9:15 and 10:30 worship hours.  We can't wait to show you what God has in store for you at St. Peter's.
